Handheld units are generally lower priced and much more portable than fixed mount units but feature smaller screens and generally lack the more advanced features they offer. Next you will want to decide between the economy of a grayscale display vs. the increased detail of full color. The final decision to make is choosing the right size screen for you. It is generally best to choose the largest display that fits in your budget and in the space provided on your dash.
